Ross Gunn is announced as a BRDC Superstar

Reigning British GT GT4 champion Ross Gunn has been chosen to be a part of the BRDC Superstar program for 2016.

The 19 year-old joins 11 other young drivers in the roster, and as a result will receive advice and help in order to progress through the motorsport ranks.Ross Gunn, GP3 driver Jake Hughes and Formula Renault 2.0’s Will Palmer, were all added to the program for 2016, and they join previously chosen drivers including: Alex Albon, Alex Lynn, Ben Barnicoat, Charlie Robertson, Daniel Cammish, George Russell, Jake Dennis, Jack Goff and Oliver Rowland.

Ross Gunn “It’s a massive honour to be joining a well-established club and to join such a well-known programme like the BRDC Superstars, which has a lot of very good drivers,” said Gunn.For 2016, Gunn will stay with Beechdean AMR but steps up from the GT4 squad to the GT3 car, replacing the outgoing Jonny Adam and Andrew Howard’s team-mate.

“It will be my job to make the most of it and make sure no stone goes unturned in my preparation, but also after the races to make sure I am doing everything I can to keep my sponsors happy.“I’d like to thank Tim Harvey and everyone at the BRDC for giving me this opportunity to improve going forwarding into the 2016 season.”
